Here is a DIY dollar store notepad hack you’ll want to try.
I am always looking for crafts to make that are in bulk and inexpensive. They make for great gifts or party favors. I came across this package of 5 x 8 note pads and knew it would be a fun challenge. They already have a backing, plus perforated pages. All they need is a bit of love.
Therefore…
Make your own cover!!
I used my own artwork for the covers of these, but you can create a collage or use scrapbook paper, etc.
Anything you want that will make you happy to use the notepad!
Supplies:
Heavy scrap book paper, cardstock, or plastic
Paper cutter or scissors
Ruler or scoring tool
Fabric (optional)
Directions:

Cut your paper (cover) to fit the notepad – I cut mine 9-1/2″x5″

Measure the top thickness of the notepad. Score your paper to match. If desired, also score an inch so you can glue the cover to the top binding of the notepad.

Hold the picture face up. Turn over and add glue all in the top edges of the paper where it will meet the notepad. Press into place. Use clamps if wanted.

Wipe away any excess glue. If you don’t want to use a wet glue, you can use a tape runner.
