Junk journal + watercolor sketchbook flip-thru

Here is my junk journal + watercolor sketchbook flip-thru. I hope it gives you inspiration!

For context, read my junk journal eco-system post here:

What is an journal ecosystem – do you need one?

This is a 5×5″ watercolor journal I use to practice.

Basically – I have/use a lot of journals! I thought instead of explaining it all in words, I’d just let you take it in however you’d like.

Above: I used artist tape to block off the spaces, added color, and peeled away the tape. Then did some storytelling in the negative space.

I used this page to practice flowers and such.

This is a free class I posted on my YouTube Channel.

The spreads above and below are from my Hobonichi junk journals. I try to work on it 3-4 nights a week to keep up with each day.

Seeing these pages from the past bring me so much joy. I already forgot about a lot of these little memories.

The bottom picture is from an Andrea Nelson IG tutorial! I love her work so much, this was one of the lessons she had on her channel. I ended up kinda doing my own thing, but still honoring her class!

I forgot to mention I have a new junk journal class available!
